Tues. January 11: Hapa Ramen at Heart Wine Bar (Mission)

Heart
1270 Valencia
San Francisco, CA

5:00pm – 10:00pm

Now talk about an eclectic event:  Heart is opening up its kitchen to Hapa Ramen, bringing together the mobile food movement and old world wines.  Given the chilly weather recently, a hot bowl of sup and noodles, and a mason jar of Occhipinti Nero d’Avola sounds pretty good to me.

Sun. January 16: Fête du Bourdeaux Wine Tasting  @ One Market (FiDi)

One Market Restaurant
1 Market (duh)
San Francisco, CA

6:00pm – $195  Tickets here.

OK, so this is clearly at a rather steep price point, but this is a ridiculous line up, including 2008s from Marbuzet, Ormes de Pez, Langoa-Barton, Lynch-Bages, Léoville-Barton and Blanc de Lynch-Bages; 1998 Lynch Bages, 1998 Montrose, 1998 Langoa Barton, 1988 Leoville Barton, 1988 Montrose, 1988 Lynch Bages and the 2006 Suduiraut.
