Wed. Dec. 1:  La Sirena Wines Tasting at FPWM (Financial Dist.)

Ferry Plaza Wine Merchants
Ferry Plaza
San Francisco, CA

4:30pm – 6:30pm – pricing $40

La Sirena stuck out as the highlight of my afternoon at the SF Vintners’ Market Tasting earlier this month.  During my time at La Sirena tasting table, I had the pleasure of talking to winemaker/owner Heidi Barrett and her daughter, Remi.  This charming and engaging duo poured  some memorable, limited-production wines, including the La Sirena Barrett Vineyard Syrah and the Napa Valley Cab.

Here’s what they plan to pour on Wednesday:

2009 La Sirena Moscato Azul, Napa Valley
Retail $30, 5oz. glass $10.75

2006 La Sirena Syrah, Santa Ynez
Retail $40, 5oz. glass $13.25

2006 La Sirena Syrah, Barrett Vineyard, Napa Valley
Retail $80, 5oz. glass $20.50

2007 La Sirena Pirate TreasuRed, Napa Valley (A New Cab Blend)
Retail $60, 5oz. glass $18.25

2007 La Sirena Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
Retail $150, 5oz. glass $n/a
