Wine Events: Week of September 6

All – sorry for the delay in weekly posts, but I took the week off to entertain some family in from out of town, and enjoy the labor day weekend.  But as always, there are some excellent wine events this week — drink up!

Wed. Sept. 8:  Food Heroes at Terroir (SoMa)

Terroir
638 Fourth Street
San Francisco, CA

6:00pm – 10:o0pm – $20 ($30 w/ signed copy of book)

Food-lit fans rejoice:  the release party for Georgia Pellegrini’s “Food Heroes” brings together good food, poured along with wine selected by Terroir’s natural wine slingin’ staff.  And all the proceeds  benefit Edible Schoolyard — a garden and kitchen classroom at MLK Middle School (a project sponsored by the Chez Panisse Foundation).
